UTU and Kephi Gallery Partner to Enhance Trust in their NFT Marketplace

We are excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Kephi Gallery to launch the UTU Trust API on their non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace and explore ways for users to further monetize their art.

What is Kephi Gallery?

Kephi Gallery is a marketplace where artists from different disciplines can get together to share and monetize their work. From designers of visual arts, to musicians, from movie producers to theatre creators, every artist is welcome to mint their NFT and start trading their pieces of art.

Kephi differentiates itself from current NFT platforms built on the Ethereum blockchain in two ways:

• All transactions are conducted on KardiaChain’s blockchain. This translates to low fees for artists when they mint and sell their work and low fees for buyers.
• It provides artists with a simple yet powerful gallery to properly display their work without necessarily having the knowledge of how blockchain works and all the technical details.

This approach opens up the NFT market in developing economies, such as those in Latin America, and to the not-so-tech-savvy people who may want to benefit from the new digital economy.

How will UTU and Kephi work together?

By integrating the UTU Trust API into the Kephi Gallery marketplace, users will get personalized recommendations and ratings from similar buyers and sellers. The ability to add badges and video stories will further improve the quality of reviews.

Artists selling their NFTs will benefit from increased sales and uptake. Buyers will have an improved customer experience, as they can make purchase decisions in a more trustworthy environment.

In future, the Trust API will allow Kephi Gallery to connect social platforms so that users can see what people in their circles think about artists, buyers, artworks, and collectibles on the platform. This connection would be completely user-permissioned and will offer contextualized information based on the level of data provided.
