We called. More than 7,500 of you (humans and computers) responded!

We asked the community to help us out and the community came through! More than 7,500 Trust Guardians participated in the UTU TestNet Rewards Program and gave invaluable feedback towards the building of MainNet. Thank you for your queries of UTU protocol which reached over 10,000 queries per day, for your feedback on the product’s features and interfaces, and on our own logistics for this incentive program. We constantly strive to improve the product we are building and how we operate as a leader of this community of trust guardians.

A total prize pool of 1,000,000 UTU Coins allocated was sent to winners of the TestNet Incentive Program (TX1, TX2). In total 1,400 winners qualified to receive the UTU Coin rewards. Winners who qualified to receive the UTU Coin rewards connected their social media, made an endorsement, and provided all the other necessary details in order to receive the reward. These tokens have been deposited into the wallet addresses provided. The winners of the TestNet Incentive Program should have already received an email confirming their selection and confirmation of tokens sent as well as the secret link to mint free Unstoppable Domains as an UTU Trust Guardian!

Some overzealous humans chose to bring their bot friends to the party which made for some delays and probably errors in who we’ve awarded tokens and NFTs to. We’ve done our best to sort everything, if you think we’ve made a mistake (you didn’t get $UTUs and are absolutely sure you abided all the rules and completed all necessary steps) please reach out via our support channel on discord. (Be kind and patient :)

The Top 10 participants (determined by the contribution score) to the program also received exclusive NFTs that have been minted and sent to the winners’ wallets. The collection is called Umoja Guardians 1.

Umoja Guardians 1

These NFTs are designed by our very own Hakeem Salim and aim to capture the concept of “Umoja” which means oneness in Swahili. His vision was to display that human relationships are always at the core of how we trust and how this trust breeds unity. We think he nailed it. Let us know what you think of the NFTs and what “Umoja” means to you in the comments. Don’t mind those two that didn’t upload, they’re for the ancestors as we say.

Thanks for your continued support and trust! Stay tuned for a whole lot more information coming soon about MainNet, a super secret product launch, and an update from the Africa DeFi Alliance!

We are always looking for contributors. If you wish to be more involved in the building process of the UTU Ecosystem as a developer, content creator or any other role, don’t hesitate to reach out to us by filling out this form. See you soon!
